A multiplier can be used to generate the sort of problem illustrated on the left, where the student has to count in tens (or fives, or twos etc) to arrive at an answer. The number range is multiplied by the multiplier. Here, a multiplier of 10 and a range of 1:10 was entered; the resulting questions might ask the student "draw 50 bags" instead of "draw 5 bags", or "draw 30 bags" instead of "draw 3 bags".
