This section relates to an issue with Internet Explorer.
When using Internet Explorer, you may find that nothing happens when you click on the blue buttons: this is because the “scripting of Java applets” option has been turned off in your browser. At the moment, the worksheet isn’t “hearing” the blue buttons when you click on them, and solving the problem requires you to open a channel of communication between the buttons on the web page and the worksheet itself.
To enable the scripting of Java applets:
- Click on Tools, then Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab at the top of the Internet Options window.
- Click on the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down the settings window, and near the bottom you will find an option labelled “Scripting of Java applets”.
- Set this to “Enable”.
- Click on okay.
