So you found me, lurking between the cracks hidden within the navigation bar, eager to scour my shorthand update notes, even though this page is no longer linked to from the main site. Reader, I respect your forthright dedication / will to overcome and assert / over-eager bookmarking, and will delay you no more. Easter egg hunters delight!

6th February, 2011: Fixed worksheet “blanking” issue after print following Java update; fixed word lists not creating word lists (!?) following update at hosting provider; hopefully remedied print button causing worksheets to hang on some networks.
15th November, 2010: Fixed print window that wouldn’t close due to changes in latest update of Java.
27th September, 2010: Fixed missing code to plug precision teaching worksheet into word lists.
12th September, 2010: Added precision teaching worksheet.
2nd May, 2010: Added coordinates / map reading worksheet; corrected date error below(!?).
14th January, 2010: Added new word lists; added Amazon advertisements.
8th December, 2009: Added Australian spellings for word lists; added Twitter feed; changed RSS feed logo; fixed broken link on handwriting sheet page.
19th November, 2009: Added simple sentence writing; removed lower answer line from multiplication worksheets.
15th October, 2009: Added addition with pictures worksheet; fixed number lines design page bug.
28th September, 2009: Added direct speech worksheet; fixed broken link the e-mail newsletter page.
10th September, 2009: Added code breaker worksheets; fixed bug on several English worksheets whereby long word lists were not passed to design sheets correctly; fixed a few typos; sitemap now only appears once; set applet caching so any cached JAR’s should be replaced by new versions.
7th July, 2009: Fixed another IE8 bug (buttons above worksheet now function, which is kind of useful).
5th July, 2009: Added new word lists; fixed Javascript problem (new IE is fussy).
4th June, 2009: Added handwriting practice sheet, despite have to face multi-page printing nemesis full on; chosen language now stored in cookie (for speed).
17th May, 2009: Added 100 square fragments; fixed square size parameter issue on normal number square design page (passing wrong parameter name to applet).
30th April, 2009: Worksheet Genius banner links to home page (without index.html suffix); added download page with “Cliché a day”; added rounding worksheet.
26th March, 2009: Added hundred square worksheet.
8th March 2009: Added spelling practice worksheet; fixed minor bugs (missing full stops, incorrect scale on one pre-designed worksheet) on thermometers worksheet; provided for longer text in range text boxes; increased size of minor scale steps on thermometers worksheet.
21st February 2009: Apply genius button now changes order of acrostics on acrostics worksheet; added thermometers / temperature worksheet; added a site map; logo now properly centred across all pages; updated IP to country database; added worksheet print counter; added new bookmark and subscribe to RSS buttons.
5th February, 2009: Stopped navigation bar “tearing” on some pages; added ability to change font on worksheets; matching pairs cards now default to a squarer shape; mixed up sentences now word wraps to allow a larger font size (3rd time lucky?); changed handling of header and instructions (bluurgh - can of worms).
15th January, 2009: Added acrostics worksheets; allowed blank titles; added GoogleAds to website.
4th January, 2009: Improved font size on magic square and mixed up sentences worksheet; recompiled all JARs to run under 1.5 correctly; added number lines worksheets; added advice for printing on Macs.
4th December, 2008: Added addition squares worksheet; nearly added measuring angles worksheet; fixed a few typos; changed a few, minor structural things.
20th November, 2008: Reorganised navigation bar and English / maths worksheet page to make content easier to find; added newsletter; fixed multi-page printing bug in phonics matching pairs; also fixed word count bug in phonics matching pairs (I swear I checked it before I published it); fixed uneven sized flash card printing; changed flash card default to 9 (to default to squarish cards); added “ch” to clip-art, phonics and matching pairs; changed troubleshooting section.
9th November, 2008: Added spelling test reminders; added missing worksheets to English and Mathematics navigation pages; fixed title error on “Select words” page; mucked about with page titles so they were more descriptive.
23rd October, 2008: Added matching pairs worksheet; removed “sun” from the cvc a list; improved placing of text on flash cards; no more debug messages; adjusted the no Javascript redirect to the correct page (renamed to .php); adjusted instructions for enabling Java in IE to cover scripting Java applets and running Java itself; also added page specifically for help if none of the blue buttons work on the Your Worksheet page.
19th October, 2008: Added two new sets of word lists - initial letter sounds / initial sounds that have obvious pictures associated with them; removed extra character preceding description of some word lists after they have been selected; removed automatic Java error page, replaced with manual one.
11th October, 2008: Added greater than / less than worksheets; reset all pages to .php extension (some .html slipped through the net); fixed problem with mixed-up sentences applet (jar had been reset to debug mode at some point - *cripes* - added extra applet parameter to make sure this never happens agian); removed “dot” from the nouns list - being asked to colour in three dots is a bit pointless really; updated the Java error page.
27th September, 2008: Added ordering numbers worksheets; fixed “design your own” link on larger/smaller page so it actually points to the right place (damn you cut-and-paste); messed around with home page a bit for good measure; renamed number page as larger/smaller; RSS feed links now open in same window to avoid problem with pop-up blockers.
25th September, 2008: Added RSS feed to update list. I’ll try to make the information here more readable / interesting in the future. Honest.
20th September, 2008: Fiddled with home page (missus); added larger / smaller than worksheets; rearranged “Also see” text so it’s actually visible (first rule of design) on addition / subtraction / first addition and subtraction pages.
14th September, 2008: Added new word lists; added facility for flash cards with horizontal bias, as well as fixing some minor font and arc scaling issues; updated IP database.
11th September, 2008: Added design own phonics page to main English index; added more useful links; added place value (abacus) worksheets; changed title and filename for design pages from the obscure “general” to the self-explanatory “design”; added even more missing worksheets from “mathematics” page; properly aligned next and back buttons (vertically) on word list selection page.

28th August, 2008: Added clip art page; added bags of clip art; added medial ‘i’, ‘o’, ‘u’ and ‘all’ CVC phonics worksheets; added phonics to main English page; better of distribution of questions on worksheets with square bias; added generate own phonics worksheet page; redesigned home page; removed home from navigation bar for clarity.
23rd August, 2008: Fixed storage of language code between pages.
22nd August, 2008: Fixed repetition of pictures in word pool; added first phonics worksheets (CVC medial ‘a’ and ‘e’).
13th August, 2008: Added more fortunes; made word lists work again.
12 August, 2008: Added maths bingo worksheets; added quick links to pages with large numbers of worksheets to aid navigation; allowed use of negative numbers in numerical text boxes; fixed incorrect subtitle on Counting to 12 page.
11th August, 2008: Added counting to 12 worksheets (drawing, colouring and counting pictures); added first addition / subtraction worksheets; added noun table to link words and pictures.
23rd July, 2008: Added percentage worksheets; improved Bingo card generation algorithm and order of words on caller’s card; fixed tick box for Roman Numerals on clocks design sheet; added inspiration section to flash cards; added pop-up warning to slideshows.
6th July, 2008: Added Bingo worksheets to English section (maths to follow); made sure English and Maths header pages included all worksheets and re-arranged alphabetically; added information re Opera applet printing fix.
15th April, 2008: Re-arranged layout of mixed-up sentences; added more obvious link for users who are missing Java.

28th May, 2008: Re-coded slideshows to run in Javascript instead of ugly, mutli-page HTML.
26th May, 2008: Fixed CVC file error on word lists; changed design of home page; added slideshows.
14th May, 2008: Centralized uneven vertical spacing on worksheet word lists (anagrams, word searches); re-reformatted and added more word lists.
11th May, 2008: Added anagram worksheet; changed word search word list to bottom of page and resized word search dimensions; removed Java check from home page (to allow non-Java users to browse word lists etc.); various improvements to worksheet.misc to allow faster rendering of text; reformatted word list to make easier to read.
1st May, 2008: improved render quality on preview page; added flash cards to activity list; added reminder about word lists on word search page; added capability for multi-page worksheets; conversion of GET arguments into POST arguments for worksheets with overly long URLs; added “Printing” dialog; temporarily dropped support for Opera browser (it just won’t print); initial language automatically determined by IP address instead of defaulting to UK.
6th April, 2008: Added first set of word lists, including the ability to browse through and use on word searches; introduced Javascript and Java checks on home page; tweaked navigation bar; added favourites button; fixed uneven alignment of buttons on “Your worksheet” page in Mozilla Firefox.
21st March, 2008: Added clocks worksheets; improved processing of SVG files; added ability to include instructions at top of worksheet.
15th February 2008: Added division worksheets; added missing x12 multiplication sheet (who counts in twelves anyway?); fixed bug (worksheet types may now be passed case insensitively); corrected year on update list (who knows what year it is anyway?); added lightweight SVG rendering capability (paths only); compressed worksheetmisc.jar to save your bandwidth and mine; added worksheet genius logo to bottom right of page; moved Javascript includes neatly between head tags of HTML documents; tidied up navigation bar.
27th January 2008: Added multiplication worksheets.
26th January, 2008: Fixed applet parameter passing, so quotation marks and apostrophes can be passed as titles etc.; streamlined parameter processing so functions are standard across worksheets (should aid stability).
19th January, 2008: Fixed word search data entry page to work in Mozilla Firefox; placed worksheet URL at bottom of worksheet in text box rather than a link, so doesn’t create superwide pages in Mozilla Firefox and Opera browsers; all worksheets loaded from same “Your worksheets” page to help consistency across site; reduced Java interpreter required to version 1.5; increased custom worksheet title size.
15th January, 2008: Fixed roll over buttons so they don’t jump around like monkeys after page has finished loading.
14th January, 2008: Added subtraction problems to web page; fixed extraneous applet parameter closing tags after checking raw HTML; renamed some of the worksheets to make their function more obvious; JAR for addition and subtraction applets retitled “calculation” for further expansion.
